Beauty products may easily get out of control, as I am well aware. I believe that all of us have bought makeup that we don’t use, don’t need, or thought we might like in the future. And we frequently overlook the ideal cosmetics arrangement. As a result, bathroom counters may easily turn into enormous messes that appear impossible to clean up. So, I put together these five easy steps so you can easily organize your makeup.
I enlisted the help of Anna, to test out our makeup organization system. She was ecstatic to take part! Discover how simple and enjoyable it may be to organize your makeup collection by reading on.
1. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR CURRENT MAKEUP.
Anna’s cosmetics were gathered from her beauty bags, bathroom, and purse in the first phase. She arranged them all on her counter, placing related items close to one another. She was able to gauge how much of each product she had thanks to this crucial step.
2. GET RID OF WHAT YOU DO NOT USE.
Although she had just cleaned out her cosmetics collection, she discovered that there were still a few items that she didn’t particularly love, either because the colouring wasn’t quite right, the texture didn’t suit her, or she had discovered a product that she preferred. Removing the items she didn’t need was essential if she wanted to actually change the way she arranges her makeup. She was great!
3. KEEP WHAT YOU LOVE.
Naturally, it follows that you should keep the things you cherish. But make careful you only keep the things you adore. Decision weariness can often be a factor for my clients in this situation. The majority of us struggle to decide whether to keep something or not. I got it. Here is my general rule: whenever in doubt, toss it out! It does not serve you if you are unsure of its value. Move along!
4. GROUP ITEMS BY CATEGORIES.
After we determined how much makeup she had post-purge, it was time to turn to the first organizing step: grouping. The following categories were used to classify the makeup: Nails couldn’t be forgotten among lips, face, cheeks, gloss, tools, mascara/liner, shadows, and gloss! Making sure you have everything from the same category together not only makes getting dressed so much faster but also guarantees that you won’t buy more of what you already have. Win, win!
5. THINK ABOUT THE CONTAINERS THAT YOUR MAKEUP WOULD FIT INTO THE BEST.
With a clear picture of what exactly she has and uses, it was time to go shopping for the perfect organizing products. We love to buy products that allow us to maximize space and keep our counter space open. Buy containers that y
