Having a lot of products sounds like fun, but it’s more annoying than anything. You can never find what you are looking for! So buy a bag and subsequently do a major makeup purge. Paring things down (a bit, at least), it’s always easy to find what you want.
1. Makeup Brushes
I don’t have the space to keep one brush for each product, and I only have a few beauty brushes in my collection. I’ve been in love with this eye brush set and the storage pouch it comes with. The beauty blender is what I use for liquid makeup. I use this brush for setting powder and this one for blush, bronzer, and highlighter.
2. Palettes
I don’t typically purchase palettes because, let’s be honest – how often do you actually use all of the colours? And I love eyeshadow but don’t use it enough to take up a lot of real estate space in my bag.
3. Mascara & Brow Products
I only keep one mascara in my bag at a time, and I refuse to leave the house without my eyebrows filled in.
4. Concealer
I have three concealers. I need to decide which one I like better and get rid of two, but I can’t seem to quit any.
5. Lips
When it comes to lipstick, I love a good matte rose colour, and I pretty much wear all of my lippies equally.
6. Bronzer, blush & highlighter
What about the GOODS? You can’t go wrong with any of them, and they’re all buildable for the perfect glow.
7. Eyeshadow Sticks
Eyeshadow sticks are MY FAVORITE. They are the best and are simple to apply. They also last all day and night. Sometimes I use them alone, and other times I layer them under a powder eyeshadow to provide extra depth.
